We stopped in to the Jaeger Haus on a whim while on a Sunday drive. We live two hours away and I honestly think that we'll be making the drive back to the area just to take the rest of our family to dinner there. The owner was very nice and enthusiastic about his food. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding. If you're going to be within two hours of them just go. You won't be disappointed. Update: We've been back twice and if possible it's been even better. We were there tonight with family ages ranging from 25 to 95. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

Got the Schweinshaxe and it was very good. Portion was smaller than expected & what I got last time elsewhere (which was actually a decade ago on the other side of the planet) but reasonable for the price and was about the right size for a guy who's not hungry. Servers and decorations were nice.

The Jaeger Haus has delicious, authentic German food. I had the pork schnitzel with spetzele and sauteed spinach and my partner had the same but with chicken schnitzel. Both were delicious. For dessert we had an apple strudel that was out of this world. We also had the German and the local beer sampler which came with 5 beers each to taste. The local beer sampler consisted of IPA beer that I really dislike. These IPA turned out to be equally distasteful to me - but that's just me. I liked 3 out of 5 of the German beers but none tasted like the beer I remembered when I lived in Germany. Again, just my opinion. But the food is incredible. I almost forgot, I had the potato pancake with applesauce and sour cream. I could have made a meal out of it. So good!

Loved it. Great food. Great server. We were in germany for the first time this past summer and this place was a less crowded bier garten. My meal (schwienbrate)(my english spelling is awful so dont quote me on the spelling). The sauerkraut fritters were fantastic and the trout schnitzel had a great sauce that had some secret ingredient and a lot of butter. This was like being in munich ... and dont let me get started on the beer...just fantastic overall.

Wonderful experience and expertly prepared meals. Everything is prepared in house and we enjoyed every bite. And ordering Hofbrau beer clinched it.

Came in with my 6 year old daughter and had a lovely experience. Staff were all very attentive and kind. Food was amazing (my daughter ate the whole schnitzel herself. The decoration and art on walls is beautiful too. All deserts we tried were phenomenal and made in house.

Have to say that we were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality, accommodation, friendliness and absolutely delicious food we enjoyed at Jaeger Haus. We didn't know it was a reservation-only establishment. Even so, the owner squeezed us in and served us our food as quickly as possible - all with a smile and no loss of quality in their delicious food. It was the best German food we've ever had. Highly recommend Jaeger Haus!

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at our first-time visit. The beer menu was great, and available in various sizes. We had the special of the night -- pork sliders on delicious small buns. A side of red cabbage was perfect. Hard to pick a dessert, but opted for delicious cream puffs. Very casual ambiance, great service, owners on site. Hope to be back next time we are in the area.
